Slightly off topic, but not really, here is a cute story
of a 6 year old girl from Alaska who was out fishing for a mermaid, but caught a humungo halibut instead, and won a fishing derby.

Reading the comments is interesting… see the leftards showing up to criticize? LOL! What idjits. These people obviously don’t understand where food comes from. Small wonder they understand so little of the rest of the world as well. I say we start eating PETA members to save the animals. As someone who once was a northerner himself, nothing annoys me more than city-folk blabbing off their big mouth about crap they know nothing about. Who lives in the biggest clear-cut of all? And who paved it? And why do they think people who live up north know nothing about how nature works? LOL! What, do they think people live up there because of the great nightclubs and restaurants? Oh wait, it must be the rich live theatre!

Most of the people who criticize people like Sara Palin and her fellow Alaskans, couldn’t survive a night in their own backyard, let alone a night in the wilderness. Those “dumb northerners” understand a lot more about nature than the majority of those with a BS Degree in Bio-Earth-Freakedness.

De-populate the earth? I agree! You first!

Neat story though. Good for Tegan!

@ Rob:
I see you and call you: let us feed PETA & Greenpeace (read: pirates) to the mega carnivores.
